That on this 29th day of luby AD. 1833 Iseph Steel a free white person of the age of twenty one years an a upwards being an alien, who has arrived in the united States after the fat ing of the act of longues entitled "an act to Establish an uniforms Ruleof Naturalization and to repeat the wet, heretofore frapeds on the Subject freaked on the 14' day of april A.D. 1802 and who is desirous to be nat ualized dothe Report himself to the Prothonotary of the Lot of Common Pleas for the bounty of Schuylkillin Manner following that is to day.


That be the said Joseph Steel was born in Min - stock Shropshire England on or about the 24th day of May ADD. 1801 and is now of the age of thirty two years , hud that he was born a member of the But. ish Kingdom, and owed allegiance to the king of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Melands 6 whom he ower allegiance, that he migrated from Englands to the United States and arrived at the Port of Philadelphia on or about the twenty first day of april AD. 1833 and that it is his intention to Settle in Elhunytkell County Pennsylvania
