[ 211] Whereas at a Meeting of y" Purchassers & Proprietors of Provi- dence January Je 270 1710 H Capt : Nathaniell Jenekes & Ebenezer Jeuckes & WilliaM Jenckes appeared & laid Claime to a Right of land on ye West Side of ve Seven Mile line in Sd Providence TowneShipp by Vertue of a Purchase for Merly Made by their Honoured father M' Joseph JJenekes but they Could Not Show any Evidence in Writeing that their father bad of Se Right of lands that Could Make the Matter Cleare Concerning it; but in all likelyhood it Might by by Reason of Some of y" Records being for Merly lost, according as they informe us; The Said Purchasseus & Propriois having Considered ye Matter, haveing heard the Circumstances thereof, & they Seeing SoMe dube- ossity therein have Comitted the buiseness on y Si Purchasers & Propri- ctors behalfe wholy| unto us ye Subscribers to detirmine the Matter Concern- ing y aforeSd land, & as wee do detirmine it.
