Samuell Aldrich of Providence in the Colony of Rhoad Island & Providence Plantations in New England Sendeth Greeteing: KNOW Yee; That I the Said Samuell Aldrich for & in Consideration of the SuMl of two pounds & fif- teene Shillings of Current Money of New England by Me in hand already Re- ceived, & well & truely payd by John Ma Wrey of the Same Towne & Colony aforeSaid the Recept Whereof I do hereby Acknowledge & Myselfe therewith fully Satisfied Contented & Paid have Given, Granted. Bargained & Sold. Aliened Enfeoffed Conveihed & ConfirMed, And do by these presents fully freely Clearely & Absolutely Give Grant Bargaine & Sell. Alien Enfeoff Con- Veigh & Confirme unto him the Said John Mawrey & unto his Heirs, Excel- tors, Administrators, & ASsignes foreVer a Certaine tract or Parcell of land Containing Eight acres Seitnate & being in Providence aforest not vel laid out, but is to be taken [217] taken upon ye Eastward Side of the Seven Mile line, in or upon the Right of William Man (deceased) & the Right of Major William Hopkins; To have & to hold the Said jeight] Acres of land With all & Singular the Privelidges, Proffitis, benefits & Appartenances thereunto belong- ing or aney Wayes appertaining, unto him the Said John Ma Wrey & unto his Heirs Exeentors AdMiniStrators or ASsignes & jun to his & their owne proper I'Se & behoofe free & Cleare forever ; And freely & Clearely aquitted Exon- erated & fully discharged from Me the Said Samuell Aldrich My Heirs Ex- eentors, AdMiniStrators & ASsignes, & of & from any Other or forMer bargains Sales, Gifts, Grants Mortgage LeaSes Wills Intailes Joyntures, Do Wives, Thirds or Ineumbrances of What Nature or terme Soover; And the Said Sam- uell Aldrich doth Covenant Promise Grant & Agree to & With the Said John Ma Wrey in Manner & forme following, that is to Say, that I the Said Samnell Aldrich at & before the Signeing & Excenting of these presents & untill the delivery hereof.
