P'ish being divided into two precincts, the upper precinct bounded as followeth to begin at Appamattuck ferry, thence as Monkassaneck road runs to stony-creek bridge between Capt Rich. Jones, & Cap® Joss Wynns, thence up stony-creek to ye upper Road to Nottoway river, thence along the road to Notto- way river, thence up between the same & Appamattuck river to ye Extent of y" P'ish. Capt Peter Jones & his Son Peter Jones are Appointed Counters for ye s'd precinct.
All below ye s'd roads to ye Extent of ye P'ish & South-side Nottoway river being ye lower precinct Instance Hall & John Mays are appointed counters for the same.
Mr. Geo. Archer sen' & Mr. Rob' Bevell are Appointed count- ers of ye tobb. plants on ye north-side ye P'ish between Old- town-creek & Appamattuck river & where ye old town creek fails at ye head. between Wontapock road & ye s'd river to y" further most Extent of the P'ish. Bristol Parish-ss: At a Meeting at the Chapple by order of Vestry made June 28th, 1725.
Maj" Robert Bolling, Maj' Rob Munford & Maj" Wm. Kennon to agree with workmen to build two Chapples in ye Parish.
It is agreed upon with the Gent" aforenamed to and wth Richª James that the sª Richª James build a Chapple at Namisseen Creek & the sª James give good Security to perform ye sª well & workman like according to bond, & Security given from un- der hand. The aforesa Gent" doth agree to pay unto the sª James 135' Curr' Money to be paid at two paymts in tob° at the price Curr at 3 Standing dealers doth allow, ye sª Chapple to be finisht at or upon Christmas come twelve Month Maj" Wm. Ken- & Wm. Bass Security for the Said James.
It is further agreed upon wth the Gent" aforesª to and with Edw. Colwell the sª Colwell build a Chapple at Sappony Creek where Maj" Bolling & Maj" Munford shall appoint the sd Colwell to give Security for the performance of the Same to be well & workman like according to ye dementions in bond men- tioned the sª Colwell to have 140 { Cur' money to be paid at two payments in Tob° at the Price Curr as 3 Standing dealers doth allow; y" said Chapple to to be finished at or upon Christ- mas come twelve Month Maj" Rob' Munford Security for the said Colwell.
