BRADFORD, VT., Feb. 19, 1907.
There has been erected the past year in place of the covered bridge near Wm. Sanborn's an iron one at an ex- pense of $724.00 ready for planking. Eleven wooden and one stone bridge with spans of from 6 to 25 feet have been built new.
The hearse was in an unsafe condition to use and we had it examined by agents of two different Carriage firms
-
12
with the intention of having it repaired but after obtaining their lowest estimates for necessary repairs concluded it was economy to procure a new one and did so; by exchang- ing the old one at an expense of $150.00 including the old hearse, more than the estimated cost of repairs.
The tramp house was sold as per vote of Town; moved and fitted for a hearse house, at an expense of $130.49.
There has been expended in the cemetery the sum of $163.82 which includes the expense of 80 feet of drain pipe and 40 rods of wire fence.
Guide posts are erected where necessary and main- tained in fairly good condition.
