REPORT OF SCHOOL DIRECTORS.

The board of School Directors for Bradford Town School District, respectfully submit their third annual report, for the year ending March 31, 1896.

It becomes the duty of the directors at this time, to make a report concerning their transactions since the last annual report was completed for the printer, the same having been audited Feb. 23d, 1895.

At the last annual meeting the district voted to unite with and become a part of the Bradford Academy and Graded School District, and within a short time thereafter, said last named district voted to accept the Bradford Town School District, in accordance with the vote taken at its annual meeting. By this step the town district passed out of existence, and the entire township has since been included in the Bradford Acade- my and Graded School District.

All the property belonging to the Town District was turned over to the officers of the Graded School Dis- trict, by the directors. As the list of the property turned over is quite lengthy, it has been thought best not to print the same, as the expense would be consider- able and no benefit derived. If any one wishes to know what the list comprises, they can ascertain by referring to the directors' books or the books of the Graded School District, which will gladly be shown them on applica- tion.

The directors have closed up the business pertaining to the Town District as far as possible. All bills pre- sented have been paid but if there are any outstanding claims they will now have to be presented to the officers of the Graded School District for payment.

34

Orders have been drawn on the treasurer, as appears from the following list, and the sum of $142.52 has been turned over to the treasurer of Bradford Academy and Graded School District.
