There has been the past year some large expenses, namely, C. H. Robinson on account of his last sickness and death has been quite large, especially doctor's bills, Mr. Blake is supported at Hanover at an expense of three hundred dollars per year, and Mr. Noah Martin which has cost quite large, has been supported at the poor farm. It has been the policy of the Overseer to pay all legitimate bills. There are no outstanding bills old or new but what have been paid up to February 15, 1897, except balance due Henry Huntington of $80.71.

WARNING.


The legal voters of the town of Bradford are hereby notified and warned to meet at the Town House in said Bradford on


Tuesday, March 2, A. D., 1897,


At ten o'clock, a. m. to act on the following articles, viz:


ART. 1. To elect a Moderator and Town Clerk for the year ensuing.


ART. 2. To hear and act upon the report of the sev- eral Town Officers.


. ART. 3. To elect all necessary Town Officers includ- ing Road Commissioner.


ART. 4. To see if the town will vote to appropriate any money for Decoration Day, and if so, how much.


ART. 5. To see if the town will vote to instruct their Selectmen to purchase a new Hearse.


ART. 6. To see if said voters will vote to instruct their Selectmen to settle the suit, Sam. D. Hartwell vs. Town of Bradford, now pending in Orange County Court.


ART. 7. To see if the said Town of Bradford will vote to rescind and declare utteriy null and void all votes and acts which were taken or done at the Special Town Meeting held in Bradford on June 24, 1893. relating to the Black Mountain Railroad and granite business as appears on the town records of said Bradford.


ART. 8. To see if the town will vote to instruct the Town Clerk to recopy such portions of the old records a- seems best to preserve them and make them more access sible for reference.


ART. 9. To see if the town will vote to adopt Article 15, Laws of 1896, relating, to collecting the town and highway tax.


ART. 10. To see if the town will vote to raise money to defray town expenses, and if so, how much, and when they will direct the same to be collected.


ART. 11. To see if the town will vote to raise an ad- ditional tax for highway purposes.
