We have just completed a very large update to our online newspaper listings. We have added newspapers from about 400 different websites in this update, bringing our newspaper listings to 168,348. We are now up to 1,124,801 links in our directory!

We made many changes to the site over the last couple of weeks. We fixed some errors in the links and their titles that we located.
We changed the newspaper pages so that the US Newspaper Directory newspapers are listed at the bottom of the newspaper section so that it’s easier to locate the online newspapers first.
We added more information to the city pages so that the most significant records for the county are also listed on each city page.
We made small editing changes to many of the articles.
We changed the name of the Brick Wall Ancestor Series to be Brick Wall Case Studies instead so that it was more clear what the articles are about.
We added the latest newspapers from Newspapers.com, Genealogy Bank, and Chronicling America.
We’re now up to 1,114,893 records in our directory!

We added a new logo to our site. We also removed and corrected some broken links, which brought our numbers down slightly to 1,111,225 records.
We also added a new article on Locating Offline Newspapers that gives helpful tips for locating historical newspapers in the U.S. that haven’t yet been digitized online.

We made a small update that included suggestions and corrections from some of our site users. We are now up to 1,112,756 records!

We recently added more city directories from MyHeritage, more records from Ancestry that we had previously missed, maps from Historic Map Works, and some site suggestions from our users. We are now up to 1,110,325 records!

We recently added more yearbooks from Classmates, more yearbooks for MyHeritage, city directories from MyHeritage, some original records for New York, and some cemetery records that were suggested by our site visitors. We are now up to 1,087,398 records!

We recently added many new records from many websites including the Texas Research Ramblers Genealogical Society, Rochester Genealogical Society, city and town maps from the Library of Congress, cemetery and burial records listings from Interment, records from Ancestry.com, yearbooks from Classmates, newspapers from Advantage Preservation, newspapers from Fulton History, and the latest records from FamilySearch. We are now up to 1,071,527 records!

We recently added many new records including more yearbooks from MyHeritage, Ancestry, and E Yearbook; city directories from several sites including Archive.org; and details from specific collections on Ancestry.com. We are now up to 1,053,656 records in our directory!
