C. S. HALEY, Secretary.
The design of this Institution is to impart carefully to persons of both sexes a thorough business Education. Also to educate them practically for Short-hand Writers, Correspondents, Amanuenses and Type-writers. Young men are carefully fitted for Bankers, Merchants, Book- Keepers, Cashiers, Clerks and Telegraph Operators by our great system of ACTUAL BUSI- NESS TRAINING. By this system, the pupil receives while in the school the same practice in conducting business affairs that he would in a bona fide Bank, Office, or Counting-House.
BRANCHES TAUGHT.
Single and Double Entry Book-Keeping, Plain and Ornamental Penmanship, Commercial Arithmetic, Business Correspondence, Mercantile Law, Actual Business, Merchandising, Insurance, Banking,

THE SCHOOL-ROOM AND COUNTING-ROOM
Are united upon a plan that secures to the student all the practical advantages of each. There is in operation a Banking House, with Checks, Drafts, Notes, Bills of Exchange, Certificates of Deposit, etc., fully illustrating the banking business.

TURKISH (Hamam) and RUSSIAN
*BATHING INSTITUTET AND PRIVATE HOSPITAL,
522 TO 528 PACIFIC ST.
Between Montgomery and Kearny, West of Montgomery Avenue.
Acknowledged by Travelers to be one of the most complete and perfectly appointed Bathing Establishments in any country .
TURKISH, (Hot Air) RUSSIAN (Vapor) and ELECTRIC Baths
Given Separately or Combined. A Great Improvement in Bathing.
The Salient Features of the Institute are :
Convenient and entirely separate apartments are offered to ladies and gentlemen, fully pre- pared for the administration of all kinds of Medicated Water Baths, as
SULPHUR, MERCURIAL, SPRUDEL, TAN, BRAN, Etc.
All the Baths are on the ground floor, which, by dispensing with the basement idea, so commonly adopted by others, insures perfect ventilation and purity.
The Steel Boiler is far away from the Bath proper, so the most timid need not be afraid of an accident.
The Bath House, specially built for that purpose, on solid rock and earthquake proof, is in size, 68 feet by 137% feet, more than twice as large as any of the other houses, with ceilings 16 to 30 feet high.
To the Bathing Establishment are also attached handsomely furnished private suites of rooms, for the treatment, by their own or the house physician, of patients not affected with any con- tagious or infectious disease.
The proprietor, Carl D. Zeile. who managed Dr. Zeile's Baths for the last 33 years, will, with the aid of his trained and polite attendants, use his best efforts to give complete satisfaction.
The Baths are Open from 7 A, M. to 8 P. M., Sundays from 7 A. M. to 2 P. M.
For the sake of Health. Purity and Freshness, I will not run the Baths through the night. ₡ Entrance, through the Drug Store.
Price of Baths, $1.00 Each, - Six Tickets for $5.00.
N. B .- Our Second-class (50 Cent) Steam Baths are better and fur superior to any other first-class baths in town.
