Frame round or square timbers to uniform length and required shape, ready to go into place. Will do the work of twenty carpenters in one-tenth the time, and will do it right. Only standard machine made.

Stamp Mills

We have built the largest stamp mill in Colorado, comprising all steel build- ings, and a two-mile wire rope tram, with steel terminal buildings. All machinery driven by electric motors.

Concentrating Machinery

Richards Pulsator Jigs and Classifiers. The most important inventions in the field of ore concentration in the past fifteen years. The remarkable claims we make for these machines are fully substantiated by the performance of numerous machines in successful operation.

The Isbell Concentrator

The most radical departure in table construction that has been made in 50 years. The Isbell Concentrator is a reciprocating motion table, but there is no cross wash water. Combines the functions of a jig, a classifier, a con- centrator and a vanner. Will treat a mixed feed of 1-8 of an inch to slime and save as much of the slime as any slime table. The capacity of this concen- trator is greater than any table on the market.

Tube Mills

INTRODUCTORY 1914

DENVER DIRECTORY OFFICE, June, 1914

This is the forty-second edition of the Denver City Directory.

It is presented with assurance that the experience gained during all these years has been used to excellent advantage in the publication of this volume.

The same care as formerly has been taken throughout to make the Denver City Directory in its scope of usefulness the equal of any directory published.

In a city the size of Denver the changes-even in one month-are many, and to follow them up, and get them accurately noted and recorded, is no easy task. By our duplicating system of securing the names both at places of business or employment and at dwellings, by rechecking and recanvassing, there is but small chance of any being overlooked.

The directory publisher realizes that in no publication is it more desirable or necessary that the spelling of names, as well as occupation and address, is correctly given. It ought to be kept in mind that in order to find a name one must know how to spell it. Yet the directory is sometimes blamed because a name cannot be found, when the trouble really is that it has been looked for in the wrong place. Mistakes are seldom due to negligence on the part of the name-taker, but rather to the carelessness or indifference of the person furnishing the information.

The Denver Directory has the advantage of the most perfect system, having been made by the same people for forty-two years. The work has been perfected from time to time, until it has reached a finished condition of accuracy and completeness.

The publisher takes pleasure in thanking the public for the uniform courtesy extended to its representatives, and for the liberal patronage bestowed upon the work.

Very respectfully,

THE PUBLISHER.
