The Basic Principles of Spinal Adjustments
J. HAMILTON JONES Doctor of Chiropractic
Graduate of Dr. D. D. Palmer, discoverer and founder of Chiropractic. Having many years of experience, and a very large practice, is a specialist in modern specific Spinal Adjustments, using new, original methods - coil spring arch, and other methods, accomplishing adjustments in this manner where otherwise impossible. Also, together with compresses, when necessary, in softening tissues, greatly aiding in removing ankylosis, relaxing liga- ments and muscles, and where there is great con- tracture and soreness of the spine, thereby permit- ting the replacement or adjustment of sub-luxated vertebra with a minimum of discomfort, which is marvelous and effectual in giving immediate relief in many obstinate and chronic cases.
WHY NOT BE WELL? NO MEDICINE
NO SURGERY
NERVES ARE LIFE
All nerves originate in the brain, converge at its base, forming the spinal cord, which passes out of the skull through an opening called the foramen-magnum into and through the center of the spinal column. From the spinal cord, nerve filaments emerge on each side of the spinal column through a small opening between each consecutive pair of vertebrae, from whence they proceed to the parts and organs into which they severally terminate. The vitality and activity of every organ, tissue and cell of the body is main- tained and controlled by an inherent force or energy which is transformed or individualized by the brain and then transmitted, by nerves, to their respective parts and organs.
