our Ir T. L. laces stating that he has bro't reproach unon the cause of % by the intemperate use of ardent spirits, and by contempt of the chh, the chh after mature deliberation with prayer to God proceeded to examine the evidence in support of these charges. The brethren leing satisfied that these charges are truc, we do now, as the means used to reclaim this offending brother have proved ineffectusl, by our vote, cut him off from our communion according: to the rule in the 18th hatt. praying that his soul may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

The Church was organized Lay Ist, 1768, . composed of the following persons, - bimeon crosby, Lenj. Hut chen. , Phineas Kingsbery, Benj. Ackley, Lleazer insign, Cornelius Lerry, William Porter, hlenor Banning, Lary Giddings, huth Porter, Hannah ackley, Il in all.


The Covenant was the same as now.

Oct. 20, 1773, Rev. Aaron Church was ordained, was dis- missed probably in hay 1815, there being no record of his dismissal, but his last record is dated May 7, 1815 & is the baptism of a child.


The remaining pages to 161 are blank. R.H.C.


Pages 161 & 162 contain memoranda relating to collections for missions. Pace 163 gives forms of letters of dismissal.


The foregoing records have been copied verbatim, with care, and it is probable that they are as nearly correct as they can be.
