The state of Iowa is divided into two judicial districts. The courts for the southern district are held in dis- trict court rooms U. S. government building at Des Moines second Tues- day in May, and third Tuesday in No- vember. At Council Bluffs, second Tuesday in March and third Tuesday in September .. At Keokuk second Tuesday in April and third Tuesday in. October. At Creston fourth Tues- day in March and first Tuesday in No- vember. At Davenport, fourth Tuesday in April *and first Tuesday ! in October. At Ottumwa first Monday after fourth Tuesday in March and first Monday after third Tuesday in October. Both districts are attached to the Eighth judicial circuit, which comprises the states of Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri. Colorado, Arkansas, Kansas, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Utah, and New Mexico.


Justice David J. Brewer has been alloted to the Eighth judicial circuit, and Hon. Wm. C. Hook, Hon. Walter H. Sanborn, Hon. Willis Vandevanter are circuit judges of said court. The courts for the southern districts are ·organized as follows:
