EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
who have returned to the fatherland. Every effort is put forth to bring the students in touch with the Pres- byterian Church, and it is worthy of note that no churches upon the roster of the General Assembly are more thoroughly Presbyterian, more sincerely devoted to the doctrine and polity of the Presbyterian Church.
The faculty consists of six competent professors who give their time as the need may be, to the collegiate or the theological department.
The new home of the school, with the face of the old Father who saw it in vision is found on page 80 of the Gallery. Faculty and Students, p. 57.
Omaha Seminary
Convenience of access in spite of modern facilities for travel will continue to figure in the question of locating a school.
From Lake Michigan to the Pacific the journey is long and the intervening population are making demands which can be better answered by the inhabitants of the localities to be served.
The growing city of Omaha attracted the attention of Eastern friends; and from small beginings a beautiful plant
and an excellent outfit for a theological seminary have been developed.
Supported in part by Iowa largely supplied with students from Iowa and almost entirely supplied with in- structors from Iowa, we are but doing justice to the in- stitution and our Synod by including it among our cherished institutions. See pages 61 and 63, Picture Gallery.
