SPECIAL NOTICE
Is called to a new and elegant MARBLE BURIAL-VAULT, which is now being introduced into the Western States. This Vault meets a want long felt by those called upon to bury friends, viz .: something better to take the place of the unsightly and quickly decaying wooden box commonly used as a recept- acle for the coffin. Its merits are as follows : It does away with all mason work in the ground, and also the repairing of gravestones and monuments, caused by the sinking in of the earth. This Vault is made entirely of the strongest and most durable kind of marble, and is placed in the bottom of the grave before receiving the coffin. It never corrodes, and may be made air and water-tight. It supplies an universal desire for a resting place, for it will never change, and does away with many unpleasant thoughts, as we remember those who have gone before us. When once in its place, it must remain with- out the least trace of decay till the end of time. Those who have bought it invariably say that it possesses every merit which can be claimed for the most massive and expensive family- vault, viz .: absolute security and durability, while the expense is but the smallest fraction of the other. This Vault is often bought for a departed friend years after burial, in case of the removal of remains from one cemetery to another.
The MARBLE BURIAL-VAULT is universally recommend- . ed by superintendents of cemeteries and undertakers wherever they have been used, as the best ever made. Its elegance, to- gether with its moderate cost, recommends it to and brings it within the reach of all.
All sizes kept on hand or furnished to order. It may be ordered through any undertaker, sexton, or otherwise. Full and complete directions how to handle and close up are sent with each Vault.
We will handle and close up any Vault ordered for any grave in Allen County, Indiana, if so ordered. The MARBLE-VAULT is made in less pieces and closer joints than those made of com- mon stone, costs but little more, and is better every way. We deal in all kinds of Vaults. Orders by mail or telegraph promptly attended to.
