Saint Ananias Club. Organized in the year 1, B. C. The oldest social club in the United States. Located in the Stormont building, 107-109 West Sixth avenue. At present it has no officers, no directors, no members, no by-laws, no money. Its assets consist of the dilapidated furnishings of the club and a grandfather's clock that goes no more. Its liabilities are rent bills, which at this time amount to enough to give the club an interest in the building it occupies. Most of the original members have passed away. The survivors are antiquated, and live chiefly to save funeral expenses. As the club charter is perpetual, the relicts of the organization are as perpetual as its charter, and will continue to do business at the old stand. For further detailed information, apply to Willis Gordon, Phenomenal Prevaricator, who is on duty at the club rooms day and night.
