Report of Committee on New Fire Station Warren Mass Dre 31-1921

The Consiste appointed to investigate the advisability and cost of building a new Fire Station would submit the following report. as reported previously the need of a new fore stature is Vary apparent. The present building is in a very how condition and there is some questions as to the safety of the building. The commuter do not consider it advisable & Expect ancy

Mr have had plans made J a suitable building to accommodate all the apparatus in Narren, The building to br o tile constructions, with a stucco finish ou thu outside Complete with lighting heating and plantes. Equipment installed this building together with a suitable central location would cost complete approximately 15000.

Owing to the serial tak adjustments made this year. with the kinhlitade would recommend that no action be taken on this project of this time.

Charles E. Comings.

Gais Covell

Your committee has done a great deal of work in collecting data in reference to installing a new lighting system in this town and have spent much time investigating and comparing similar lighting systems in other places throughout the state in order that we might find the type of light that would give the best possible illumination for the lowest possible cost and several of these experimental lamps have been in places along our Main Street for sometime past.

We are not, however, ready to make a recommendation at this meeting and would ask for a continuance of this committee that we may submit a complete report at some future date.
