Article XLVIII of the Accendements to the Constitution is hereby accended by striking out, in that part entitled "/ Genergency" Measures", under the heading" The Referendum" The words"A separate vols shall be taken on the preamble by call of the year and ways which thatt be recorded, and unless the forramble is adopted by two thirds of the Quarters of Each House rating thereou, the law shall not be an emergency low; but" and substituting the following :- A separate voto, which shall be recorded, shall be taken on the preamble, and unless the fircamille is adopted by two-thirds of the members of Each Hause rating thereau, the

law shall not be an Emergency law. Upon the request of two members of the Senate or of five members of the House of Thepresent atives, the vote on the preamble in such branch shall be taken by call of the year and ways, But Laws submitted upon Referendum after passage, Acceptance of Chap. 368, Acto , 921 entitled "An Act Providing for sent by and against certame voluntary association. 's . " Acceptance of Chap 438, Acts of 1921, entitled "An Act relative to the examination and licensing of motion picture fileus to the publicly exhibited and displayed in this Commonwealth".


Acceptance of Chap. 427, Acts of 1922, Entitled "An Act to carry into Effect, so far as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is concerned, the Eighteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States."


Acceptance of Chop. 459, Acts of 1922, Entitled "Au Act providing that district attorney. shall be iruchers of the tax".
