This is one of the most extensive Establishments In New England, and has recently lee i newly fur ished with Type of eve: y description, requisite to a complete Printing Office.
SPRINGFIELD, MASS.
WILSON'S PRINTING OFFICE.
The Presses, which are run by steam, are new and of the most improved construction, and comprise a variety of patterns, calculated to execute work well and fast. In fact, it combines the best facilities for the prompt and workmanlike execution of every description of
Letter Press Printing,
BOOK BINDING, And Blank Book Manufacturing,
Of any establishment between Boston and New York, if not in the New England States, and contains the fullest and best selection of every thing necessary to make up a perfect and modern Printing Office
Being no novice in either branch of our business- having usurped nothing-but received it as the legiti- mate result of a regular apprenticeship, at two of the best establishments ever in Boston, and, after years of extensive experience in all the details of this art of arts, (as perplexing and complicated as any in the world,) we feel confident that, with the best of help always at hand, we can continue to take the lead in the exercise of taste, and the correct and rapid execution of work.
In this last particular-Promptness-we think we are now prepared to excel, beyond all dispute-our en- tire arrangements having been recently revised with sole reference to this result,-we can execute all or- ders, as promptly as any other establishment, subject to as few, or fewer, contingencies.
In our Composition Department,
We have the fullest and greatest variety of all kinds of TYPE, BORDERS, CUTS, ORNAMENTS, &C , &c. Some of our founts are enormous in weight.
WILSON'S PRINTING OFFICE.
Our Press Department
Comprises six of the best description of Printing Presses, (equal to twenty of the best in use twenty-five years since,) each of different size, in constant re- quisition, several of which, together with much assist- ing machinery, are driven by a
WILSON'S PRINTING OFFICE.
NEW AND ELEGANT STEAM ENGINE.
Our STEAM INKING MACHINE enables us to execute the printing of Cuts and fine work with great beauty. Attention is specially called to our facilities for
WILSON'S PRINTING OFFICE.
COMMON AND EXTRA
BOOK & PAMPHLET PRINTY
The facilities possessed by us in this description of work, are unsurpassed by any office in the State, out of Boston and Cambridge. Our founts of Book Type embrace the usual variety of sizes and faces found in the first class offices, while their unusual weight en- ables us to keep a larger number of pages in type, than most other offices in New England ; thus secur- ing the utmost dispatch, and affording extra accom- modation to those in the extensive use of medical or other cheap circulars, requiring frequent editions and alterations.
For Blanks of every description,
We have no rival that can compete with us in prompt- ness and perfection. Enormous quantities of BRASS RULE, and perfection in adjusting Instruments, enable us to feel quite at home in the most elaborate designs and difficult pieces.
For Handbills, Programmes and Posters,
We have the fullest assortment of Type and Bordering designs and Ornaments, and, with our Steam Presses, we can execute them with great dispatch. We can print a larger Poster at one impression, than can be done at any other Job office in the State, except in Boston.
Circulars, Bill-Heads, Billets, &c.
For this description of Printing, we are also up with the best Metropolitan establishments.
WILSON'S BOOK BINDERY.
PUGGLES PATENT
Business and Show Cards.
The fullest assortment of every description of Stock and Type; the best and most rapid Press yet invent- ed, and unusual promptness, is the grand secret of the immense business we have always maintained in this line. We trust that still further exertions, will enable us to improve our position in this department.
We manufacture the finer qualities and tints on our fancy Inks.
In the Bindery Department,
We always have been fully up to the best City styles of Job Binding and Blank Work. We have hereto- fore lacked only in promptness, and this evil we think we have fully subdued; if we have not, we shall not rest until we do, though the task is no easy one. No
WILSON'S BOOK BINDERY.
department of our business requires more experience and indefatigable attention than this. We shall more fully than formerly put into it our personal experience and skill, and we trust still to stand without a rival.
Job Binding of every description,
Including the most elaborate Gilding and Marbling, done in our own Bindery, and under our personal supervision.
Patent Blank Books, Paged or Unpaged,
Ruled and Bound in any style, and WARRANTED. We do not say that we have the only Ruling Machine in Springfield, for this could not have been said in truth by any one, during the last 8 or 10 years, and decep- tion is not our design ; but we have, and always have had, a GOOD RULING MACHINE, upon which we have done, and are still in the constant habit of doing, good ruling ; and, if at any time we have sent any of our ruling abroad, convenience and not neces- sity has prompted it. We have building to our order however, and nearly ready for delivery, a First Class
MODERN RULING MACHINE,
For the more rapid execution of the nicest description of work. The most difficult Ruling can be done by us as well as by any person in the country.
For specimens of our BLANK BOOKS, we would refer to some of the most prominent establishments in this vicinity, among which we will name-
Register of Deeds and of Probate Ofices ; Hampden Stock and Mutual Fire Insurance Co .; Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co .; Berkshire Mutual Life Insurance Co. ; Westfield Mutual Fire Insurance Co .; Town of Chicopee ; City of Springfield ; Homer Foot &. Co. ; J. W. Hale & Co. ; A. P. Sherman & Co. ; and a host of others too numerous to specify ; besides to several specimens in our own use. We are fully pre-

pared with every requisite for this work, and can make the heaviest Blank Books to order, as well and as cheap as they can be done in any city in the Union. We have set apart a department exclusively for this purpose, and shall pay particular attention to it.
All our business will hereafter be carried on more particularly under our supervision than formerly ; and
STRICTLY ON A CASH BASIS.
We shall purchase our Stock for Cash, and all work must be paid for in Cash or its equivalent, on delivery, except by previous contract. We are resolved not to be outdone by any other concern in the country, but to do it we must not spend all our time in endeavors to collect Bills. The Cash System is decidedly the best for all concerned.
PRICES.
Our prices will continue to be as low as any good and responsible establishment can afford to do good work for, in city or country.
