Farquhar's New Bindery
For thirteen years David Farquhar has been in the book binding business at the corner of Fair Oaks and Camp Streets, North Cam- bridge. He made rapid progress from the first, and his work is now to be seen in the public and private libraries of the United States. The old quarters proved 100 small, so a new fre-proof brick structure, with floors of artificial stone, and special fre-proof vaults are pro- vided for safely storing books. It is lighted with gas and electricity, and has plate glass weindores six feet high. No inflamable material is allowed to ac- cumulate, and all waste is at once swept into a fire-proof vault beneath the building. It is one of the finest plants in the country.
