To give an alarm, open the door, CAMBRIDGE PUBLIC LIBRARY pull the hook to the bottom of the Broadway, between slot once, and let go. Each box and Irving Opened every day, legal holi- contains a small bell, which, if heard before you pull indicates days excepted, from 9 a m to 10 that an alarm has been previously pm Sundays from 2 to 10 p m given, and by listening at the box, you will learn the number of box from which the alarm is given,

First alarm will be given by striking two or more rounds of box number.
Second alarm wil be given by striking three blows followed by box number
Third alarm will be given by striking three blows twice on gongs, bells and whistles.
Regular meetings of the School General alarm will be given by Committee on the third Thursday striking three blows three times of each month, at & o clock, p m on gongs, bells and whistles.
