The following soldiers went with General Winslow's expedition to Nova Scotia in 1755. The company commanded by Capt. Josiah Sturte- vant had for its lieutenant Lemuel Bent, the famous inn-keeper at Milton, who afterwards went out as captain for a general invasion of Canada in 1759. This company was stationed at Port Le Tore on the twenty-fifth of April, 1756.
