BLACKINTON.
The thriving and prosperous little village bearing the above name was so called in honor of Sanford Blackinton, first president of the S Blackinton Woolen Co., which constitutes the main indus- try of the place. It is situated on the Fitchburg railroad, three miles east of Williamstown. Electric cars run to and from this place every 45 minutes.
