The 23th * of this 7th mº 1637 M' Hugh Peters de- livred into the court a deed of M' Robert Saltonstall makeing over all the estate that hee hath, or shall have to satisfy his Credito's.

She gave ¿ of her goods at Boston in N. E. to John N[o]tt,t to her sister Duglas 21, to her nephew to whom shee was a witnes 20g to buy him a bible, the rest of her goods heare in Newe England to Samuell Bellingham, & all [her] goods in ould England shee gave them equally between her two sisters there.

The Inventory of Edward Wilson, amounting to Edwd Wilson will & estate. 481 28 00d, was delivered into the Court this 4th day of the 7th mº./ by Thom: Wilson, executor of. the afore- named Edward, & was received de bene esse./


It was ordered wth the consent of M' Rich'd Jane Drakes legacy to Jno not. Bellingham that the said M' Bellingham should de- liver Willi: Cheesbro for John Nott 6' in satisfaction for his 14 p'te of all the goods & chattels given him by his aunt Joane Drake this to bee dd p'sently & the said M' Bellingham to bee dis- char[g]ed thereof vpon delivery of the same.


The agreement betweene M' John ffiske & his Agreemt betw. Jno & Wm ffiske. brother William made by M' John Endecot, Willi: Hathorne John Woodberry & Jeffrey * Massey was approved in Court wth the consent of p'ties that the said Jnº shall returne 2001 of the estate in his hands to his brother Willi: & Willi: shalbee bound to give vnto his said Brother John, if hee dies vnmarried before hee comes to the age of 24 yeares the sume of 100', & the said Willi: did release to the said John in Court all his Interest in the land./

Thomas Wilson for takeing above double tole was fined x1 & being prsented for standing above sixe months excomunica[te] hee was en- ioyned to appeare at the next Courte.


Samuell Basse for his contempt was fined 51./


Rich'd Turner for being notoriously drunke was fined 21.


William Blanton appearing was enioy[n]ed to Canooes. appeare at the next court ; wth all the men that were in the Canooe wth him, & Aplegate, wch owned the Canooe out of wch the 3 psons were drowned./ & it was ordered that no Canooe should bee vsed at any fferry vpon paine of 51 nor no Canooe to bee made in or jurisdiction before the next generall Court vpon paine of 101.


Also order was appointed to bee given to Rich'd Right # to stave that Canooe, out of weh these psons were drowned.


Dorothy the wife of John Talbie being by her owne confession guilty of the vnnaturall & vntimely death of her daughter Difficult Talbye was by the Jury found guilty, & so was condemned to bee hanged./ §


William Androws haveing made assault vpon his m'. Henry Cog- gan struck him diverse blowes, & wickedly conspired against the life of his said m'., & not onely so : but did conspire also against the peace,

Gyles Player being found guilty of severall thefts, & breaking into houses was censured to bee severely whiped, & delivered vp for a slave to whom the Court shall appoint.


John Bickerstaffe was censured to bee severely whiped for comit- ting fornication wth Ales Burwoode.


Ales Burwoode was censured to bee whiped for yelding to Bicker- staffe wthout crying out, & concealing it 9 or 10 dayes.
