Dea" Benin Balch Cap" Jon Thorndike, Mr Israel Wood, and Lieunt Henry Herrick be a Comtter to address tho several Churches to our Assistance in the Ordination of AF Jos. Champney. Voted that the Churches hereafter mentioned be addressed and sent to. Viz. The Four Churches in Salem. The Second Church in Beverly. The Churches of Wenham. Manchester & Cambridge and the Two Churches in Marblehead.
Att length the Day appointed for this Ordination ar- lived And the Churches above mentioned were present by their Elders and Messengers, except the Second Church in Marblehead. The Ordination was thus carried on : The Read ME Fisk began with Prayer. The Royd M' Appleton preached the Sermon The Revd M Barnard gave the Charge. The Rev" Mr Chipman the Right Hand of Fellowship. They being both sick, and in very great want of what is comfortable. And it was unanimously voted and agreed that the Three Deacons should pay a Visitt to ym and give them of the Church's money, so much as they should think might be necessary to relieve them under their Difficulties and wants.
