Voated that no person or persons Neither directly nor indirectly shall Cutt down Cut uppon Nor Cary away any Manner of green oak or waulnut tree or trees Vppon the Common for the fire at any time within or before the fifth day of October which will be in ye Year of our Lord 1699 : on the penalty of Ten shillings for Each tree so Cut down Cut uppon or caryed away as a fine to the town To be Recouerd as the Law directs

Voated that the persons that are Chose anually by the selectmen to take Caire that all the town orders for the preservation of wood shall be duly prosecuted haue full power to prosecute the afore sd orders in behalfe of the town
