We the subscribers being Chose by the town of Lyn to measure the Land of Sargt Joseph Newhall & Nathall Newhall Late Decesd we we Run from a heap of stones & astake in the End of Duck pond in Salem Line and so from station to station a Long Salem Line to the foot of the hill against the autor hole meadow to a heap of stones & so to a white oak tree marked and so on a streight Line to a heap of stones and a stake by Reding Road & so Runing downward to a Rock by Salem Road turning and so to a white oake tree below the spring from thence to a heap of stones and a stake by sd Road and so to a Rock on the Northerly side of sd Road about six poles of the gate as it Now stands and then we Run Cross sd Road to a heap of stones and a stake by sd Road and so to a Rock on the Northerly side of sd Road about six poles of the gate as it Now stands and then we Run Cross sd Road to a heap of stones on a Rock and so to a heap of stones in the pathe and so to the southewesterly side Corner of sd Nathaniell Newhalls orchard and from thence to a stump before Joseph Newhalls Dore ouer the Runn the highway going as it now goes before their houses & from ye sd stump to a Red oake tree marked on two or three sides with a hepe of stones aboute it by the Esterly side of the highway down to Lyn & from thence a streight Line ouer the End of Duck pond to the aboue sd stake in Salem Line and herein is alowance made for the highways that are therein with fifty poles yt is Laid out Round Nathall Newhalls barn
