In addition to the above appropriation, the Treasurer was au- thorized by vote of the town to borrow for the purpose of erecting the High School House, the sum of six thousand seven hundred dollars.
It will be perceived by the above report, that there is a balance of six thousand three hundred and eighty one dollars and fifty-nine cents on hand ; but your Treasurer would state that there are es- timated bills now nearly due, on the High School House, unpaid to the amount of twenty-five hundred dollars or more, leaving on hand after paying the same about three thousand eight hundred dollars.
