BEVERLY DIRECTORY
Use
The Index
To Beverly Business Houses On Page 571 To Find What You Want
Much time has been spent to make it convenient for the searcher and reference is made after each name to the full information depart- ments, pages 2 to 114 and 669 to 723.
Special attention is called to this department of complete infor- mation about Beverly's Leading Business and Professional Men. Those who buy without looking at the classified lists of those who sell do themselves great injustice. It tells the purchaser who are local dealers in the article he wishes to buy.
HOW TO USE THE BUSINESS DIRECTORY
For a Physician's or Dentist's office hours, consult index of Physicians, where location of office, office hours, telephone number, etc. are given. Restaurants, Banks, Merchants, Garages, etc., will all be found in like manner.
For goods of any description look at classified lists where mer- chants selling same can always be easily found.
We know we speak for the Public when we thank the Business and Professional Men of this City for their liberal patronage, through whose assistance your City Directory is issued and from which the public largely benefits.

COPYRIGHT LAW SECTION 28 In Force July 1st, 1909
That any person who wilfully and for pro- fit shall infringe any copyright secured by this Act, or who shall knowingly and wilfully aid or abet such infringement, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by imprisonment for not exceeding one year, or by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars, nor more than one thousand dollars, or both, in the discre- tion of the court.

BEVERLY DIRECTORY
A SUGGESTION
In order to find a name in the General Directory which follows, you must know how to spell it. The publishers have this constantly in mind and many similarly pronounced but differently spelled names are given cross references from one method of spelling to another. But even this will not help you if you insist upon search- ing for "Patrick Mack" when his real name is "MacNamara." Of course he is sometimes called Mack, but you must be sure you are right before you give up the search. One of our lead- ing business men could not find Mr. Gouchie be- cause he didn't know it was spelled Gauthier. Study your directory in your spare moments. It will save you time when you are busy and hurried.
