CAMBRIDGE CHRONICLE,
A FAMILY NEWSPAPER, PUBLISHED WEEKLY, ON THURSDAY MORNING,
BY JOHN FORD,
AT TWO DOLLARS PER ANNUM, IN ADVANCE.
THE CHRONICLE has been established nearly two years, and its object is to furnish to the citizens of Cambridge, regularly, an account of all that is transpiring within their limits, of public interest and utility. This is its leading feature.
Unceasing efforts are made, aside from a record of local affairs, to present the LATEST INTELLIGENCE from all parts of the country, and also such a variety of interesting miscellany, as may be necessary to constitute a GOOD FAM- ILY PAPER. Our means for doing this are ample, and we shall not be slow to use them.
There are regularly published, Reports of the doings of Mayor and Aldermen, Common Council, School Committee, and Police. The City Ordinances are published by author- ity in this paper.
The columns of the Chronicle are freely offered for the discussion of all matters of general interest-save those which involve party politics. Here we stand on neutral ground, and our neutrality will be strictly adhered to.
The Office is in Cambridgeport, on the corner of Main and Magazine streets, over the store of J. A. Holmes & Co.
BOOK & JOB PRINTING.
Connected with the Office, is a good assortment of Type for JOB, FANCY, AND CARD PRINTING, and our facilities are such that we can execute every variety of Job Printing, as reasonably, and in as good style, as at any other establishment. A share of the public patronage is solicited.
