The State of ye question
we conclude that the first voate of the Towne in puting the question. who would giue thier pt of ye 3 part of ye meadowe to Meadfield is direcly null by reason the voat of the Town declareing that they would not giue thier pt was equall in number and power. whence we resolue. no man is bound to giue his pt or any pt thereof by vertue of that voate
we conceaue that the voate of the Town being the onely voate in force was that Meadfield should haue that Land ptly by gift. & ptly by sale. the Town is therby engaged as a Town to giue som pt (lesse or more) of that 100€ wch was the price of the meadowe in question
we conceaue it yet to be in the libertie of any Inhabitant of our Towne. to giue wt he please to Meadfield (puided it be out of his own es- tate) wherein we ar vnwilling any man should be hindered.
we conceaue vpon all the p"mises being considered that if the Town should demand & receaue of Meadfield 60€ in 3 yeares next ensueing. or 50€ to be payed in merchantible paymt wthin the space of one whole yeare next. the Town of Dedh shall at full make good any Regular voate passed in this case & shewe our Loveing respect to our Brt of Meadfield
