Wheras diu-se abuses conc'neing ye taking of other mens botes & Canooes wth out licence of ye Owner, to ye danger of many differences amongst vs weh we desier to rectify ac- cording to a Court order. [Now therfore] ordering yt whosoeur shall hereafter take any boate [contrary to the] peace wth out Licence of ye owner shall for taking any such boate to vse as aforesayd, forfet Ten shillings. Wheras Thomas Hastings hath sould vnto Edward Richards Lot forfated all yt his Lott Formerly graunted vnto him wth out Cosent of ye Towne & Contrary vnto an order made ye 14th September 1636 wherby ye sayd Lot is become forfated vnto ye Towne: The same is Referred vnto ye aforesayd Seaven Comittees Chosen for ye Towne afayres to be ordered as they shall thinke fitting.

Lambert Genere selleth to John Kingsbery his ptable Alienacon Medowe graunted to him Joyntly wth other men for service done vnto ye towne in ye begining therof: his pte being twoe Acres more or lesse as it lyeth by Philemon Dalton & trend- eth vpon ye Riu": to haue & possesse vnto him & to his heyers & Assignes forever as appeth by a note vndr his hand & seale dated the Fifteenth of the 4th Month comonly called June 1639.

Wheras m" Robte Feke hath form"ly agreed with our Towne to Relinquish both his Lott & Farme vpon condicon yt our engagemt for 20 mr kes Towne shall paye vnto him Twenty marks of English money, at such tyme as ye sayd Lott & Farme shalbe graunted out vnto some other man or otherwise disposed of by our sayd towne. And in ye meane tyme the sayd Robte Requiring some one man to stand ingaged for ye true pformance therof in his tyme limited, & he nomi- nated Edw: Alleyn for ye same. Wherfore we doe nowe order yt the sayd Lott & Farme shall both stand firme in estate vnto ye sayd Edward Alleyn & his Assignes for to secure yt his ingagement conc"neing ye same vntill ye sayd twenty Marks be fully satisfyed accordingly.
