Land & So Runing as ye General Courts Committe Laid it out between Thirftons Land and Jacob Goulds Land and So between Thirftons and George Wheelers Land. Alfo Laid out a bridle way across Eleazar Houghtons Land and William Wallaces Land faid way beginning at ye Countrey Rode and Runing by ye South Wefterly Side of Co !! Willards fence and So to ye End of ye fence and then up the Ridge to a Tree mark,t on ye Eafterly Side of Said way and So mark,t and So mark,t ye Same Side of Said way till it comes to David Pearces Land. Also we have Taken a view of ye High way that Runs acrofs Jonathan Whitneys Land by his Defire and we think it as Conveniant for ye way to Go Round ye Said Whitneys Land Saving four Rods at ye Southerly Corner which he offers to Give ye Town for a High way. Provided that they will Throw up the other way: which Land fo Left out, begins at a Great White oak Stump, and fo runs on a Strait Line to ye Caufeway : or whether ye Town will Give faid Whitney Six Pounds for ye way as it now Ly- eth. (Voted yt ye alteration be alowed.) Alfo ye High way being a Little altered between Leiut Colburns Land and Hilkiah Boyntons Land by Reafon of ye Said Boy- tons Setting his Houfe in ye High way through a mistake and hath fince purchafed fome Land of ye faid Colburn for to be added to faid way in Stead of what Land ye faid Boynton hath Taken up: we there fore ye faid Colburn and Boynton defire ye Town to Confierm ye Land which is Left out of ye faid Colburns Land for part of ye High- way aforefaid.
