Thousand Dollars, ($5,000.00), and the Treasurer, with the ap- proval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow a sum not exceeding Fifteen Thousand Dollars, ($15,000.00), and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor, said bonds or notes to be payable in accordance with the provisions of Section 19, Chapter 44, of the General Laws, so that the whole loan shall be paid in not more than four years, or at such earlier dates as the Treasurer and Selectmen may determine Yes 457, No. 0.

P. Eugene Casey, Timothy W. Hannigan, Wil- liam J. Hayes, Selectmen, and Michael S. McMahon and Ar- thur E. Vesperi were appointed members of the committee.

It was moved: That the Town establish an annual salary of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) for the Plumbing Inspector, and that the sum of Eleven Hundred Dollars ($1,100.00) be appropriated from the Board of Health's General Appropriation, in addition to the sum of Four Hun- dred Dollars ($400.00) already appropriated as the Plumbing Inspector's Salary.


The motion was amended that the salary be Two Thous- and Dollars, ($2,000.00 )

Article 29. Voted: To accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the relocation and alteration of the norther- ly line of West Street, from the easterly line of Highland Street, easterly for a distance of about 330 feet.


Article 30. Voted: To raise and appropriate the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00), for the purpose of paying land damages caused by the relocation and alteration of said northerly line of West Street.


Voted: To dissolve the warrant.

To either Constable of the Town of Milford, in said County: GREETING :-


In the name of the Commonwealth aforesaid, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said Town, qualified to vote in Elections and in Town affairs. to meet at the Town Hall, in said Town, on Wednesday, the 17th day of August, A. D. 1932, punctually at eight o'clock in the evening, to act upon the following articles, namely :-


Article 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.


Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap-

propriate the sum of Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000.00) in addition to the amount already raised and appropriated for Soldiers' Relief, or take any action in relation thereto.


Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000 00) in addition to the amount already raised and appropriated for Public Welfare, or take any action in relation thereto.


Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of Six Hundred Forty-six Dollars and Forty-two cents, ($646.42) for the purpose of paying bills contracted in con- nection with the re-construction of West Street, from the Clancey property to the junction of West, Congress and Ex- change Streets, said money to be transferred from the 1931 appropriation for land damages on South Main, Courtland, Elm and Prospect streets, or take any action in relation thereto.


Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) in addition to the amount already appropriated for interest, or take any action in relation thereto.


And you are hereby directed to serve this Warrant by posting up attested copies thereof, at each of the Public Meeting Houses and at the Post Office in said Town, also cause an attested copy to be published in the Milford Daily News, a newspaper published in said Town, Two Sabbaths at least, before the time set for said meeting.


Hereof fail not, and mike due return of this Warrant with your doings thereon to the Clerk of said Town, at the time of meeting aforesaid.

In pursuance to the foregoing Warrant, the inhabitants of the Town of Milford, qualified by law to vote in Elections and in Town affairs, met in Town Hall in said Town on Wednesday the seventeenth day of August, A. D., 1932, punctually at eight o'clock in the evening and were called to order by the Town Clerk who read the Warrant and the offi- cer's return thereon.

Your Finance Committee make the following report:


Article 2. We recommend that the Town vote to vaise and appropriate the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,- 000.00) in addition to the amount already raised and ap- propriated for Soldiers' Relief.


Article 3. We recommend that the Town vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,- 000.00) in addition to the amount already raised and appro- priated for Public Welfare.


Article 4. We recommend that the Town vote to appro- priate the sum of Six Hundred Forty-six Dollars and Forty- two cents ($646.42) for the purpose of paying bills contracted in connection with the gre-construction of West street, from the Clancey property to the junction of West, Congress and Exchange Streets, said mony to be transferred from the 1931 appropriation for land damages on South Main, Courtland, Elm and Prospect Streets.

To either Constable of the Town of Milford. in said County, Greeting:


In the name of the Commonwealth aforesaid, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said Town, qualified by law to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall, in said town, on Tuesday, the 13th day of September, A D 1932, punctually at eight o'clock in the evening, to act upon the following articles, namely:


Article 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meet- ing.


Article 2. To see if the town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of Twenty-five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($25,500.00) in addition to the amount already raised and appropriated for Public Welfare, and appropriate the sum of Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00) from the amount received from contributions from town employees, for

Public Welfare, and transfer to the appropriation for Public Welfare, the following amounts: from the appropriation for oil- ing streets, Two Thousand Three Hundred Twenty one Dollars and Six Cents ($2,321 06), from appropriation for land dam- ages on South Main, Elm. Courtland, and Prospect Streets Sixteen Hundred Seventy-eight Dollars and Ninety-four Cents ($1,678.94), or take any action in relation thereto.


Article 3. To see if the town will vote to raise and ap. propriate the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) in ad- dition to the amount already raised and appropriated for Sol- diers' Relief, or take any action in relation thereto.


Article 4. To see if the town will vote to raise and ap. propriate the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) in ad- dition to the amount already raised and appropriated for Board of Health, or take any action in relation thereto.


Article 5. To see if the town will vote to construct side- walls along Charles River, from Central Street to B. & A R. R. tracks, and transfer to the General Appropriation for high. ways, for said purpose, the following amount, from appropria- tion for land damages on South Main, Elm, Courtland and Prospect Streets, Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for the pur- chasing of materials, the construction to be under the super- vision of the Highway Surveyor, or take any action in rela- tion thereto.


Article 6. To see if the town will vote to appropriate the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) to be expended under the direction of the Finance Committee, in conducting an investigation of the Public Welfare and Soldiers' Relief Departments, said money to be transferred from the following appropriations, land damages on South Main, Elm, Courtland, and Prospect Streets, Two Hundred Fifty-nine Dollars and Ninety-one Cents ($259 91), Round Pond Improvements, One Hundred Sixty nine Dollars and Fifty-six Cents ($169.56) Se- lectmen's, Four Hundred Forty-four Dollars and Fifty-eight Cents ($444.58), Removing abutment on Medway street, One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars and Ninety-five Cents ($125.95), or take any action in relation thereto.

Article 7. To see if the town will vote to authorize the Finance Committee to put upon the official ballot at the An- nual Town Meeting, for the election of Town Officers, any important article that the Finance Committee may suggest, or take any action in relation thereto.
