Article 9. Voted: That the Town will vote to authorize the Sewer Commissioners to appoint a member of the Sewer Commissioners to the position of part-time Superintendent of Sewers and that the compensation of said appointee be Thirteen hundred twenty ($1320.00) dollars retroactive to January 1st, 1953, in compliance with Chapter 41, Section 4A of the General Laws (Ter. Paula Road
Beginning at a point in the Westerly side of Con- gress Street, said point being 200 ft. northeasterly of a stake at land now or formerly of one Shaughnessy. Thence running S. 70-W. 200 ft. more or less to an angle point at a spike at junction of land of T. Kosciak and F. Cheschi. Thence turning and running S. 63-52' W. 262 ft. more or less to a stone wall at land now or formerly of one Shaughnessy.
The street is to be 26 ft. wide and is to lie on the northerly side of the above described lines.

Beginning at a stake in the Easterly line of Congress Street at the northwest corner of land of one Griffith. Said stake is located N. 16°-30' W., 200 ft. from a stone bound at the southwest corner of land of one Ray and at a private way called Legion Street.
Thence: Running N 71º-04' E. 201.1 ft. to a stake at the northeast corner of land of one Melpignano. The street is to be 40 ft. wide and is to lie to the north of the above described line. It is bounded southerly by land of Grif- fith and Melpignano and northerly by land of Marino and Delletti.

Article 37. Voted: That the Town vote to appro- priate the sum of Thirty thousand ($30,000.00) dollars for the purpose of constructing swimming facilities on land adjoining the Charles River near Fino Field, and that to meet this appropriation the sum of Seventy-five hundred ($7,500.00) dollars be raised in the 1953 tax levy, and that the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen be, and hereby is authorized to borrow the sum of Twenty-two thousand five hundred ($22,500.00) dollars and issue bonds and notes of the Town therefor, payable in accordance with the provisions of the General Laws, so that the whole loan shall be paid in not more than ten (10) years from the date of issue of the first bond or note, or at such earlier time as the Treasurer and the Selectmen may determine.

Prospect Heights
All those premises within the Prospect Heights area in said Milford, being shown as 'A', 'B', and 'C' Streets on plan entitled "Draper Corporation Property Plan Show- ing Prospect Heights Milford, Mass. February 11, 1953 Raymond Smethurst", filed with Worcester District Deeds, Plan Book 188 Plan 16, and being described as follows :
'A' Street leading southerly from the southerly line of Water Street as now laid out, and being approximately 940 feet in overall length and consisting of two straight sections and one curved section, and being 40 feet in width along said straight sections and varying in width from 40 feet to approximately 30 feet along said curved section.
'C' Street being approximately 500 feet in overall length and approximately 30 feet in width, and running westerly from said 'A' Street above described to the easterly line of Massachusetts State Highway known as Route No. 140.

Article 42. The Clerk read the report of
Land on Water Street to be Conveyed to the Town of Milford
A certain piece of property located on the southerly side of Water Street in the town of Milford and more particularly described as follows :
Beginning at the northeast corner of the property at a point on the southerly line of said Water Street; thence westerly along the line of Water Street about 200 feet to the easterly line of a street designated as A Street on the plan of land entitled "Draper Corporation Property - Plan Showing Prospect Heights, Milford, Mass." dated February 11, 1953, and to be recorded with Worcester District Deeds; thence southerly along the easterly line of said A Street a distance of about 572 feet to a corner of stone walls; thence easterly along a stone wall about 175 feet to a point; thence northerly at an interior angle of about 75 degrees a distance of about 463 feet to a point; thence northerly along a dif- ferent course a distance of about 94.75 feet to the point of beginning.
All as shown on the plan of land entitled "Land in Milford, Mass. Deeded to Town of Milford by Draper Corporation" dated February 11, 1953, and to be re- corded with Worcester District Deeds.
