REPORT OF CEMETERY COMMISSIONERS
The Commissioners submit herewith the following report for the year 1924:
There has been expended in connection with the general work on the cemeteries the sum of $560.25. This sum will be taken from the Cemetery Fund and paid to the Town Treasury in accordance with the vote of the Town. Further progress has been made in the work of perfecting the records and having the matters connected with the cemetery put in regular and proper condition.
Five lots have been taken during the year, and one is sur- prised, especially if they are not often at the new cemetery, to see how rapidly the lots are being taken. The Cemetery Commissioners wish again to call the attention of the Town to the advisability at the present time of purchasing addi- tional land adjoining the cemetery belonging to the estate of Mr. Charles S. Wheeler, and the Commissioners recommend that definite action be taken to acquire this land by purchase or otherwise.
The report of the Town Treasurer and Auditor will show the receipts and expenditures during the year.
Respectfully submitted,
CHARLES S. SMITH, EDWARD F. FLINT, FRITZ CUNNERT. Cemetery Commissioners.
