TOWN MEETINGS 1956
Counting the annual town business meeting and the town election as one meeting, as actually they are considered in law as separate parts of the annual meeting, there were six town meetings in Berkley in 1956. In addition to the annual town meeting there were meetings for voting at presidential pri- maries, state primaries, and the state election ; also two special meetings, one of which was for the purpose of voting on a regional school district.
