APPARATUS.
Consists of 2 hand engines, 3 hose wagons, 3 hose jumpers, 2 ladder trucks, 10 chemical fire extinguishers.
FIRE ALARM.
The Fire Alarmı is under the charge of Supt. W. P. Mercer, and we have added one new box at the corner of Commercial street and Howard street.
HOUSES AND PROPERTY OF THE DEPARTMENT.
The houses and property are in good condition, with the exception of the ell part connected with the house in the south part of the Town, which requires shingling. The Town appro- priated one thousand dollars ($1000) for a new hook and lad- der truck for the east part of the Town. Thomas South, Jr., contracted for the same, but up to Dec. 31, 1900, the work had not been completed. We have also purchased 650 feet of wax- treated hose at a cost of $325.
