PETITION FOR RECOUNT FOR THE REFERENDUM ON REPRESENTATIVE FORM OF GOVERNMENT
To the Registrars of Voters of the Town of Braintree :
We, the undersigned Voters of the Town of Brain- tree representing that we have reason to believe, and do believe, that the records, or copies of records, made by the Election Officers of said Town of the ballots cast at the Town Election on March 1, 1937, for the Referendum on Representative Form of Government are erroneous, in this respect, that "Yes" was credited with less, and "No" with more votes than were cast for each respectively, and we believe that a recount of
30
ballots cast in said Town Election will affect the result.
We therefor as that the ballots cast on the above named Referendum be recounted.
