Article 1: To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the sum of one hundred ninety-five ($195.52) & 52/100 dollars to provide for increase in salary of gar- ' barge collector as voted by the Board of Selectmen, and act thereon.
VOTED to adopt.
Article 2: To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the sum of two hundred twenty-seven ($227.27) & 27/100 dollars to provide for increase in salary of as- sistant garbage collector as voted by the Board of Selectmen, and act thereon.
VOTED to adopt.
Article 3: To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from free cash in the Treasury the sum of five hundred ($500.00) dollars for purchase of dam in Namasket River at Star Mill, so-called, and all rights in connection therewith, for purpose of protecting the fishing pool and conservation of herring in the river, and act there- on.

Article 4: To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of five hundred ($500.00) dollars from free cash in the Treas- ury for repairs to the dam in Namasket River at the Star Mill, so- called, and act thereon.

Iseminger, Carl G. Kendall, William J. MacDougall, Romeo Millette, Ralph E. Nourse, Joseph A. Picone, Joseph F. Riley, Man- uel J. Silvia, Virginia C. Smith, George A. Shurtleff Jr., Edward B Thomas, Forest E. Thomas, Frederick S. Weston, Joseph C. Whitcomb, Lorenzo Wood, and Theodore N. Wood.
Article 7: To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum not to exceed $75,000.00 from the excess cash in the hands of the Town Treasurer to purchase War Bonds to be used for post war purposes and to authorize the Town Treasurer to purchase and to hold said bonds until maturity or such time as deemed advisable by the Selectmen, and act thereon.
VOTED to appropriate the sum of $74,000.00 from the excess cash in the hands of the Town Treasurer to purchase War Bonds to be used for post war purposes and to authorize the Town Treas- urer to purchase and to hold said bonds until maturity or such time as deemed advisable by the Selectmen.
Article 8: To see if the Town will vote to amend the vote passed under Article 9 in the Warrant for the annual Town Meet- ing held on February 14, 1944 so as to read as follows: "Voted that the Town raise and appropriate the sum of two thousand ($2,000.00) dollars to be used for the maintenance and reconstruction under Chapter 90, said sum to be expended in conjunction with State and County funds, as provided by Chapter 90 and amendments of General Laws," and act thereon.
VOTED to amend the vote passed under Article 9 in the War- rant for the Annual Town Meeting held on February 14, 1944 by striking out the words "Spruce Street" so as to read as follows: "Voted that the Town raise and appropriate the sum of two thou- sand ($2,000.00) dollars to be used for the maintenance and recon- struction under Chapter 90, said sum to be expended in conjunction · with State and County Funds, as provided by Chapter 90 and amendments of General Laws."
