NEW EQUIPMENT
A 500 Gal. Per. Min. front end pump was installed on the tank wagon, also a body was built to carry hose and equipment for the use of both the Fire and Forest Fire Departments.
Two new gates were added along with three gas masks, three fog nozzles, 1,000 ft. of 11/2 in. hose. Ten pair of rubber boots, seven coats, one fog applicator, new batteries for Engine No. 2, Engine No. 4 and Ladder No. 1 and 100 ft. of booster line.
New window shades were purchased, doors and windows were repaired and painted.
RECOMMENDATIONS
That 1,000 ft. of 21/2 in. hose be purchased to replace hose that has been damaged or worn out.
(Money for the above has been included in the department's estimate for 1945.)
That a hose tower be built to take care of the cleaning and drying of hose.
I wish to express my thanks and appreciation for the assist- ance and cooperation given me by the Board of Selectmen, the Town Manager, members of the Fire Department and Police De- partment.
