Contributory Retirement Board, Workmen's Compensation Agent, Local Property Officer, member of the Limited Town Meeting, Finance Com- mittee and Town Accountant, giving of his time and energy without restraint, always with a cheery smile and a helping hand to all who came in contact with him, many times going out of his way to be of service to any and all who might need his help, ever faithful to the obligation commensurate with his duties as Town Accountant and the many other offices he held.
"Be it therefore resolved that we, the members of the Limited Town Meeting, here assembled recognizing that in the passing of Ralph Quirk, Saugus has lost one of its most useful and respected citizens.
"His place in our community will be hard to fill. His was a life of real service and many times self sacrifice given unstintingly to all the citizens of the Town.
"We the members of the Town Meeting, here record our sincere regrets at his passing and extend to his sorrowing widow and children our deepest sympathy.
"And be it further resolved that a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the records of this Town Meeting and a copy sent to the family of the late Ralph Quirk." 9:25 P. M.
