'Art. 46. Voted to take up Articles 67 to 75, inclusive, with this article.
'Voted, To raise and appropriate the sum of $11,700 for electric lighting and out of this appropriation and the accumulation of rebates, the Electric Light Committee may, if it meets with their approval, install lights to meet the requirements of Articles 67 to 75, inclusive.
Art. 47. Voted, To appropriate from the Revenue of the Water Works for the current year the sum of $44,095 to be ex- pended for the following purposes, viz : $15,000 for Superinten- dent's salary, maintenance and Pumping Station ; $2,500 for current expenses, Commissioners and office expenses ; $10,000 for the installation of meters ; $9,595 for the interest on bonds, viz : $4,600 sinking fund bonds at 4% on $115,000 ; $4,410 on Serial bonds at 42% on $98,000 ; $585 on Serial bonds at 42% on $13,000 : $7,000 for Serial bonds due this year, viz : $2,000 due May 1st and $5,000 due November 1st.
Art. 48. Voted, To appropriate and direct to be paid to the Trustees of the Sinking Fund out of the income of the water rents for the current year the sum of $5,000 to be set apart and invested as a sinking fund for the payment at maturity of the Weymouth water loan bonds.
Art. 49. Voted unanimously, That the Town Treasurer be and 'hereby is authorized with the approval of the Water Com- missioners to prepare, issue and sell $5,000 of bonds under authority of Mass. Acts of 1913, Chapter 276, the proceeds thereof to be used for making further construction of the Water Works, said bonds to bear interest at the rate of 4% per annum, payable semi-annually, to be dated May 1, 1915, and to be pay- able $1,000 on the first day of May of each of the years, 1916 to 1920, inclusive .; all other particulars as to form, issuance and sale of said bonds to be determined by the Town Treasurer.
Art. 50. 'Voted, That all taxes shall become due and payable on or before the 11th day of October next, and that the Collector be instructed to collect forthwith, according to law, all taxes re- maining unpaid after that date, with interest at the rate of 6 % per annum, and the salary of the Collector be six mills on the dollar.

Art. 51. Voted, To raise and appropriate the sum of $800 for the preservation of shade trees, to be expended under the direc- tion of the Tree Warden.

Art. 61. Voted, That the Selectmen be authorIzed to sell any real estate of which the town may be possessed, and for which it has no further use, the same to be sold by public auction ex- cept in the case of land owned by the town as the result of unre- deemed tax sale.
Art. 62. Voted, To raise and appropriate the sum of $1,900 toward the sinking fund for the payment at maturity of the James Humphrey Schoolhouse bonds.
Art. 63. Voted, To appropriate the sum of $200 for the pur- pose of making a permanent memorial of the plot of land on Park avenue, near the residence of J. F. Art. 76. Voted, To take up Articles 77 and 78 with this article.
Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of five thousand ($5,000) dollars as called for in article 77 for the improving of Washington Street between its junction with Main Street and the Hingham line, and that the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, is hereby authorized to borrow four thousand ($4,000) dollars for this purpose, and to issue serial notes of the town therefor, payable in equal annual installments, for four years from date of issue, to bear interest at a rate not to exceed four and one-quarter (44) % per annum, this money to be raised in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 719, Section 5, Clause 8 of the Act of 1913, as Amended by Chapter 317 of the Acts of 1914, for macadam pavement or other road material under specifications approved by the Massachusetts Highway Commission, said money to be expended under the direction of the Selectmen and not to be used unless the cost to the town be one-half or less than the total amount expended, and that the

NORFOLK, SS. To the Constables of the Town of Weymouth in said County. GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of Weymouth aforesaid, qualfiied to vote in town affairs, to meet at the Fogg Opera House, in South Weymouth, on Thursday, the fifteenth day of July, 1915, at seven o'clock and forty-five minutes in the evening, then and there to act upon the following articles, namely :
Art. 1. To choose a Moderator.
Art. 2. Upon petition : To see what action the town will take upon the proposition that the town takes the contract for construction of the proposed state highway on Washington Street.
Art. 3. On petition : To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate in addition to the amount raised and appropriated at the last annual town meeting for the building and equipment of the proposed new school-house in Ward 3.
Art. 4. . On petition : To see what additional sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate for the repairs of highways, sidewalks and town ways for the current year.
Art. 5. To see if the town will accept the provisions of Chapter 284, Acts of 1915, in relation to holding annual town meetings.

Pursuant to the foregoing Warrant a meeting of the inhabitants of the town of Weymouth was held at Fogg Opera House in said town on Thursday, July 15, 1915, at 7.45 P. M., the meeting being called to order and the Warrant was read by the Town Clerk.

In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of Weymouth aforesaid, qualified to vote in elections therein, to meet at the polling places in their respective precincts, to wit : In precincts One, Three, Five and Six, at the halls of the Fire Engine Houses located in those precincts respectively ; in Precinct Two, at the Odd Fellows Opera House; and in precinct Four, at the Hose House at Nash's Corner, on Tuesday, the second day of Novem- ber, 1915, at fifteen minutes before six o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to bring in to the Wardens of their respective pre- cincts their votes on one ballot for the following named public officers, to wit :
For Governor for this Commonwealth.
For Lieutenant-Governor for this Commonwealth.
For Secretary for this Commonwealth.

ARTICLE OF AMENDMENT.
"Article three of the articles of amendment to the constitution is hereby amended by striking out in the first line thereof the word "male."
3. Shall the following proposed amendment to the constitu- tion relative to the taxation of incomes and the granting of rea- sonable exemptions be approved and ratified ?
ARTICLE OF AMENDMENT.
" Full power and authority are hereby given and granted to the general court to impose and levy a tax on income in the manner hereinafter provided. Such tax may be at different rates upon income derived from different classes of property, but shall be levied at a uniform rate throughout the commonwealth upon in- comes derived from the same class of property. The general court may tax income not derived from property at a lower rate than income derived from property, and may grant reasonable exemptions and abatements. Any class of property the income from which is taxed under the provisions of this article may be exempted from the imposition and levying of proportional and reasonable assessments, rates and taxes as at present authorized by the constitution. This article shall not be construed to limit the power of the general court to impose and levy reasonable duties and excises."
4. " Shall the county of Norfolk authorize the county com- missioners to issue bonds of said county to an amount not exceed- ing seventy-five thousand dollars for the purpose of establishing an independent agricultural school?" (General Acts of 1915, Chapter 189.)
The polls will be opened at fifteen minutes before six o'clock in the forenoon and will be closed at one o'clock in the afternoon.
And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting a copy thereof attested by you in writing in each of two public places in

each voting precinct in said town seven days at least before the time of holding said meeting.
Hereof, fail not, and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk of said town three days at least. before the time of said meeting. .
Given under our hands at Weymouth this eleventh day of Oc- tober, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and fifteen.
