REPORT OF THE TOWN ACCOUNTANT

East Weymouth, Mass., January 1, 1922.

To the Board of Selectmen and Overseers of the Poor:

Gentlemen :- I submit herewith the twentieth annual report of the accounting department showing the financial transactions of the several town departments. Some changes will be noted that differ materially from the reports of previous years, the most im- portant being a classified statement of the receipts of the town as required by the Director of Accounts for the Commonwealth. The statements of expenditures have also been compiled to more closely conform to the requirements of the State office. The books of the department are open to the inspection of any citizen desiring more detailed information than that appearing in this report.

Respectfully,

EMERSON R. DIZER, Town Accountant.
