SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
November 26, 1960
Special Town Meeting held at the Governor John Carver School on November 26, 1960, at 8 o'clock, P.M., Moderator Bradford H. Cole, presiding. Invocation given by Lawrence French, Pastor of the First Baptist Church. Meeting proceeded to act on the articles in the warrant as follows:
Article 1. It was unanimously VOTED to approve the amount of debt, namely $100,000.00, authorized by the Re- gional District School Committee of Plymouth-Carver Region- al Schoot District on October 28, 1960.
Article 2. Unanimously VOTED to appropriate from available funds in the treasury the sum of $778.00 for operating expenses for the Plymouth-Carver Regional School District; namely school Committee expenses, professional and clerical salaries, travel, office expense, seal, etc.

Article 3. VOTED, unanimously, to appropriate the sum of $75.00 from available funds in the treasury for Main Street (Route 58) Land Damage, in accordance with Plymouth County Commissioners Partial Decree No. 1124, additional award dated June 14, 1960.
Article 4. VOTED, unanimously, to appropriate the sum of $5,000.00 from available funds in the treasury, said sum of money to be added to the cost of liabilities incurred or to be incurred to meet the emergency resulting from the hurricane of September 12, 1960, such expenditures, in excess of existing appropriations therefor, having been authorized by the Board of Selectmen acting in accordance with the provisions of Gen- eral Laws, Chapter 44, Section 31.
