ART. 19. To see if the town will authorize the Board of Health to take measures to protect the public from the rav- ages of Cholera or other contagious diseases during the com- ing season, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon


ART. 20. To see if the town will take measures to prevent injury to the highway by water, east of the bridge over Cady Brook on the flat near the Yellow School House, raise and ap- propriate money therefor, or act thereon.

ART. 29. To see if the town will take measures to prose- cute, at the expense of the town, violations of the law relating to the sale of intoxicating liquors, drunkenness or common drunkards, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon


ART. 30. To see if the town will repair the sidewalk on the southerly side of Hamilton Street from Marcy to Pine Street, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon.


ART. 31. To see if the town will accept the report of the Selectmen, laying out a town way (now known as Highland Street ) from southerly side of South Street, to near the house of E. A. Gleason at the southerly end of said Highland Street, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon.


ART, 32. To see if the town will accept the report of the Selectmen laying out a new town way from the new road to Charlton City, near the shop, and over land of Henry N. Vinton to the old road to Carlton City, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon.


ART. 33. To see if the town will build a bank wall on the west side of Pleasant Street from near the premises of L. W. Curtis to the bridge ; also to raise the bank wall on east side of said Street from Hamilton Woolen Co's barn to the bridge, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon.

ART. 34. To see if the town will construct a gravel walk on the east side of Pleasant Street from near the house of Daniel Walcott to the bridge over Mckinstry brook, raise and appro- priate money therefor, or act thereon.


ART. 35. To see if the town will remove so much of the ledge as lies within the limits of the east side of the southerly end of Chapin Street, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon.


ART. 36. To see if the town will remove obstructions from Winter Street, construct gravel walk on the. west side of said street, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon.


ART. 37. To see if the town will purchase Lamp Posts and Lanterns, to be placed; two on Pleasant Street ; two on West Street ; three on Plimpton Street ; two on Mill Street north of Chas. W. Weld's ; three on Hamilton Street ; three on Cross and Union Streets; three on North Street; and four on South between Water Street and West Street, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon.


And you are directed to serve this Warrant by publishing an attested copy thereof twice in the SOUTHBRIDGE JOURNAL and Southbridge Herald, the first publication being not less than nine days next preceeding the day of meeting,-or by posting up such attested copies in four conspicuous public places within the Town, at least nine days, including Sundays,-before the day ot holding said meeting. The polls will be open at 9 o'clock, A. M., and close at three o'clock, P. M.


Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at the time and place hereinbefore named.
