REPORT OF TOWN ACCOUNTANT

To the Honorable Board of Selectmen :

Gentlemen :

I herewith submit my annual report of financial tran- sactions of the Town of Southbridge for the year ending December 31, 1925.

The system of accounting has been carried out as in the previous years under the direction of the Division of Ac- counts, Department of Corporations and Taxations.

Again, I request all departments to use the special tri- plicate forms whenever a bill is rendered, also the duplicate order forms, that I have had printed. These forms can be had at my office.

Further, I call to your attention the desirability of en- dowing the Tax collector with the power to collect all moneys due the town. Outside of the advantages to be gained by such a procedure, it has proven itself a successful feature in office of other Town collectors.

In closing I wish to extend my sincere thanks to our various town departments for their hearty co-operation and assistance rendered during the year.

Respectfully,

VALMORE P. TETREAULT,

Accountant.
