To choose on one ballot the following Town Officers and Committees : Town Clerk, Town Treasur- er, Tax Collector, for one year : one Selectman, Overseer of Public Welfare and Board of Health, for three years; one Assessor for three years; three Herring Committee for one year; one School Committee for three years; one School Committee for two years ; three Constables for one year ; one Trustee of Brooks Library for three years; one Park: Com- missioner for three years; Moderator for one year; one Water Commissioner for three years; Surveyor of Highways for one year; one member of the Planning Board for five years.

To see if the town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the reve- nue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1938, and to issue a note or notes therefor payable within one year, and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of! less than one year in accordance with Section 17, Chapter 44, General Laws.

Article 6. To see if the town will. vote to instruct its Selectmen to control, regulate and prohibit the taking of Eels, Clams, Quahaugs and Scallops, within the Town limits as provided in Chapter 91, Section 85, and acts and amend- ments thereto, to the revised Laws of Massachusetts, and to make any regulations in regard to such fisheries as may be expedient, and act fully thereon.


The Finance Committee recommends that this article be accepted and adopted. So voted.


Article 7. To see if the Town will vote to place one street light on Pleasant Road, West Harwich, said light to be placed on sixth or last pole in from Chase Street, and to raise and appropriate a sufficient sum for the same.


The Finance Committee recommends that this article be accepted and adopted and the sum of $17.50 raised and appropriated. Accepted and adopted.


Article 8. To see if the town will vote to erect and, maintain two street lights on poles on Depot Street, West Harwich, Mass., one near the residence of Aaron E. Baker and the other at the Junction of Depot and Division St., and act fully thereon.


The Finance Committee recommends that this article be accepted and adopted, and the sum of $35.00 raised and appropriated. Accepted and adopted.


Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sufficient sum of money to erect and maintain two street lights on North Road, West Harwich, between

the State Highway and Smith Street, and to act fully there- on.


The Finance Committee recommends that this article be accepted and adopted and two lights installed on the third and fifth poles in from the state highway, and that the sum of $35.00 be raised and appropriated. Accepted and adopted as read.


Article 10. To see if the town will vote to erect and maintain two street lights on Wyndymere Road.


The Finance Committee recommends that this article be accepted and adopted and two lights installed, one on the third and one on the eighth pole south from the Lower County road, and that the sum of $35.00 be raised and ap- propriated. Accepted and adopted.


Article 11. To see if the town will vote to erect and maintain two street lights on Sea Breeze Avenue near the residence of William M. Sayles.


The Finance Committee finds that there is only one pole on this street, near the residence of William M. Sayles, and used to support wires from Wyndemere Road to a cot- tage east of Sea Breeze Avenue. They recommend that a light be installed on this pole and that the sum of $17.50 be raised and appropriated subject to the approval of the lo- cation by the Cape & Vineyard Electric Co. Accepted and adopted.


Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.) for the purpose of constructing a sidewalk in North Harwich ; be- ginning at the four corners near the residence of Irene Bak- er, and extending northerly on the East side of the street as far as the money will go; the surfacing shall be of hot mix or concrete construction ; and act fully thereon.


The Finance Committee recommends that this article be accepted and adopted. Accepted and adopted.

Article 13. To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars ($800.) to extend the sidewalk on the East side of Pleasant Lake Ave- nue and to harden same with bituminous concrete to go as far as money will allow. Accepted and adopted as read. $800.00 appropriated.


Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sufficient sum of money to harden with bi- tuminous concrete or some other suitable material the side- walk on the easterly side of South Street, extending from Main Street, Harwichport, to the junction of Miles and Pleasant Street.


The Finance Committee recommends that $100.00 be raised and appropriated to cut out a walk and harden with gravel at this point. Accepted and adopted as read.


Article 15. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.) to harden and improve with oil the road leading from Pro- fessor Hersey's road to Uncle Venies road in South Harwich and act fully thereon. By request.


The Finance Committee recommends that this article be accepted and adopted. So voted.


Article 16. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.) to harden and improve with oil the Mitton Road, so-called, and leading from Sisson Road to the town dump, and act fully thereon.


The Finance Committee recommends that this article be indefinitely postponed. So voted.


Article 17. To see if the Voters of the Town of Har- wich will appropriate Five Hundred Dollars ($500.) to hard- en and improve with oil the road in West Harwich, known, as Lothrop Avenue, from the State Highway to the Town Dump, and to act fully thereon.
