To Fish in BALDPATE, FOUR MILE, and STILES' Ponds, in Boxford, subject to the following Rules and Regulations required by the Commissioners on Inland Fisheries in Massachusetts.
Fishing will be allowed to inhabitants of Boxford, ONLY, on SATURDAY, of each week, from the First day of May till the First day of December of each year, until further notice, from Sunrise to Sunset.
This Permit shall not be transferred out of the family of the holder thereof, and does not authorize more than one member of a family to fish at the same time,
All Black Bass under one pound in weight, and all Pickerel under ten inches in length are to be returned to the water alive.
No set lines, nets, or traps of any description shall be used in taking fish from these ponds. All fishing is to be done ONLY by a naturally or artificially baited hook and hand line.
Every holder of a Permit shall, on or before the twentieth day of November in each year, make return to the Selectmen of the number, estimated weight, and species of fish taken under this Permit.
Any person failing to conform to these Regulations and make the required returns, will be liable for such neglect and forfeit his Permit and the right to fish for one year.
Nothing in these Regulations shall be construed as giving any right to take fish when prohibit- ed by law.
