Voted To autho rize the Treasurer with the approval of the Sele chiwen, To hire such amounts of money as may be needed from time to time to pay demands against the town that may be made upon him, In anticipation of the taxes of the en suing year and payable therefrom

Noted That the town maintain a watering place at school House Number Six


Voted That Twenty Dollars be expended for repairs on Bald Hill road leading to the residence of Captain Eben Io Hooper


Voted That the rebinding of the early records, and copying of certain records, belonging to the town shall be left with the selectmen and Down blesk to act upon as they say think best. And the Selectmen shall provide a suitable vault of sufficient size to hold the present records and whatever others that may accumulate hereafter. and there shall be built in connection with this vault a building of sufficient size to accommodate the Selection and other town officers in holding their meetings and for such other purposes as may be thought best. The Selection shall decide upon the location of the bault and the building connected therewith The money to defray the expense shall be drawn from the treasury of the town as may be needed to pay for the construction of the Fault and the building.

Chose Voted To accept the offer made by James A Elliott in open town meeting that he will give to this town a quantity of land from his field near by the First Church of sufficient size and dimension to build the selectmens office and Town Vault upon also land enough besides this for a passage way around the building and fault free and clear of any hindrance whatever, This present shall be accepted from James A Elliott unless the selectmen decide to locate the Building and Vault on some other ground,


Noted That the Building shall be 30 feet long and 18 feet wide and the posts shall be 8 feet high, And that all other matters pertaining to the construction of this Building and the Fault shall be left discretionary with the Selectmen, and that they may exchange timber from the down Farm for the lumber needed in construction
